The articles are the author's thoughts on issues of the day. The writing seem similar to others who have a different view from the official government statements which appear in the mainstream media.

At least the publication gives those who do not subscribe to malaysiakini a chance to read another point of view. There are so many dissenting voices in the country but seeing them in print might be a big hurdle. So, at the moment, the Internet is a saviour, another outlet to let off steam.

But I do wonder, will we ever see some change in the present ruling regime?
